Rebuilding a d16y8.... any year model parts better?
Sup,
I am re-building the bottom end (block) of my d16y8 that i recently purchased. the crank bearing were showing a little copper so i figure its a good time to go ahead and put new rings, crank bearings, and piston bearings in. my question is, in any year did honda improve their parts? what i mean is, since the d16y8 was available over several years.. did any year have better bearings or rings? thanks.. hopefully i can get this thing back together pretty soon and run 15s!
