$380 with enamel primer, it would have been about $290-300 with a different primer

It does look like a little dog in that one pic. It might be a ghost dog just chilling in that pic. He might be your CRX's gardian angel watch dog!

very nice, I'm sure you'll have no problem meeting minimum weights, prolly may hav eot ballast some, old paint weighs a ton, and you jsut took all that off ? thats great.

Are you throwing a b-series in there or other ?

i hope i get all of your questions..

im using a MB 2ng gen crx front end, its gonna have a k-series (k24 destroked to 2.3 with k20a head), the old paint was totally bead blasted off and there was just a little bit of rust under the windshield cowl on each corner.. i was suprised there wasnt more!

heres a small update..

thats my tenzo ARRRR seat, it was cheap and should get the job done.... i didnt get a pic, but i took the doors off, im waiting for the fiberglass ones to get here.. and i spent about 4 hours trying to do the ******* lexan... but it wouldnt cut right.. it would just splinter and crack. So i need to go to home depot again and get the right stuff hopefully this time, i think the stuff i have is way too thin, and might be the wrong stuff..

unless your home depot is different from ours your gettin the wrong stuff. nhra requires a 1/8" thick lexan. a good place to look for it is at a window store or like a mom and pop type home improvement center.

cutting lexan works best with a router, using a flush cut bit u can make a template of ur glass with 3/4 mdf and use it as ur jig that way ur cuts are perfect and won't crack or look like a pissed of beaver cut it out for u

rotozip and a steady hand...

Another thing to help is to put a piece of 1/4" board underneath the lexan, and it will help to balance and hold the lexan leve so it won't be as flexed.

Cause its about 1/4th of the price. and besides, cutting , fitting and riveting lexan is fun
