I have heard that around 250+, the ATTS shuts off and becomes dead weight. When your horsepower is around that, can u take out the ATTS and still use the same transmission. I thought they were connected in some way that can not be separated.

i just got done swapping a base engine and tranny into an SH car, fits perfect with using SH axles. Quaife in the tranny.
running Hondata on a built bottom end turbocharged. Will be tuning soon.
Handles like a charm without even lowering the car.

That's becuase you did a full base swap...sh axles are the same as base axles as far as I know.
Anyways project penny, how about you get a turbo and supercharger, and if the ATTS starts actung funny on you, then deal with it. These conceptual questions don't really do much for me, as you are very far away from owning and install a Turbo/SC.

Base axle on the passenger side is a bit longer (1/2 inch)
