Default How hard would this engine swap be?

I have a D15A1 from an 88 CRX DX thats in pretty good shape (Engine, tranny and ECU) and I'm looking at buying an 86 CRX (Carb engine, not running)

I'm just wondering if all the linkage would hook up, if I would need new mounts, axles and so on...

Thanks!!

Possible, but totally not campatible. Need to modify mounts, linkage, and prolly axles, along with getting it tuned.

Well, I'm just looking for a winter car and I can pick up this shell with zero rust for $300 and I already have the engine So I'd just tune it myself.

Yeah everything like axles and shift linkages and mounts are going to be different I think, as well as you must change the whole fuel system, because you are going to go from carburetorated(sp?) to a fuel injection setup. Fuel injection requires a pressurized fuel system that the carburetorated(sp?) cars do not have. So you are going to need: fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel pump, and also you will have to change most of the wiring harness for fuel injection. I don't really know what is involved in this swap, but I am sure there is alot more you will need to figure out than what I mentioned. It would be easier if you just bought a complete 86-88 integra and swapped everything over and then you would have a DOHC and everything should fit pretty good, because they pretty much have the same understructure for the body. Well hope this helps. Jordan.
