I took my car out to the track yesterday and ran a best of 11.63@125.02. The car has a lot more in it than that I think from that mph. They had a pro light out there and it was kicking my but allday. I kept bogging out the whole every run. I was only cuttting 1.8 6o fts on 25x8 M&Hs (yeah i need to practice) On top of that the car had a miss in it on that run. I think my plugs were gapped to big but not to sure cause I didnt get a chance to make any other runs. Here are my times:
60 ft 1.82
1/8 7.623@95.03
1/4 11.63@125.02

I think once I get my my 60 foots down in the 1.6 range and get that miss out of the motor I can click off some low 11 sec timeslips. The car was a 99 Civic Si with no AC, powersteering, and the rear interior was gutted.Set up is:
83mm GE Sleeved B18A
B16 JG Proseries head
Rev hard log style mani
Open DP
Turbonetics T3/T4
JG Victor C intake mai
720cc injectors
Hondata 3bd
B16 tranny with quaife.
These runs were made on 116 octane and about 18-20 psi.

Yes its my daily driver. I drove an hour out to the track and put the slicks on. Had a great day out there and then I changed out the slicks and drove home. I bought my slicks through John@M&H .

Congrats bro, your flying. With that mph I ran 10.70's in my Buick GN, so that gives you a indication of what you can compare yourself to on the street rolling in 2nd or 3rd gear.

 

thanks for all the positive feedback guys. The car is still for sale I met a guy at Hallsville Raeway who was very interested in it so hopefully he will get it. If not though time for a new manifold and a SC61 and ill shoot for 10s next season.

 

Nice times, when you said you were in the 11's I didnt expect to see you being so far in them. You have a pretty simple setup for that time too. What are the specs on your turbo?

the track i ran at you dont need a cage until 11.49 I believe so that was cool. Its a pretty small track in East Texas. Im asking 14000 for the car and im firm on that. Yes we got the profec b working. The damn directions greddy gave me were wrong .

Good runs man. If your gaining 30mph (95/125) in the big end, id say you can go low low 11's if you launch hard. Whats the car weigh?
