Default Oil Restrictor Update

Just got an e-mail from teh guy that will be making them. He said since we have enough people to get around 20 he will make a batch. I will be posting his e-mail and Paypal info so people can get them from him directly. He also wanted me to let people know he makes them in his spare time, so it will take a couple days to get them done. If you will be ordering, please post in this thread, so I can let him know how many people want them and the amount they want.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the restrictors are being made over the next week or so. He asked me to give him the week to make them and then to post his info.

The restrictor helps to keep the oil pressure down, so that oil does not blow by the seals of the turbo. It is a common problem with Honda engines, since they run over 65-70psi during operation. Basically it is a $20.00 part to help give the turbo a longer life span before a reduild is needed.

He has started making them and is making a batch this weekend. I should be posting his Paypal address and info this week.

The easiest way to mount the restrictor is to screw it into the inlet port and then screw the -AN fitting into the restictor. Very simple.

The fitting has one side threaded 1/8NPT male and the other side is 1/8NPT female. If you check my other post there is a link in a Nissan forum that is what they will look like.

Here's a easier source for those looking for a restrictor.

1/8npt - 4an restrictor fitting
Autometer Part #3277
Summit Part ATM-3277

You can easily drill it to whatever size you want.
