Just wondering what everyone thought of Arias? Looking for new pistons and the shop i will likely be taking the motor to suggested Arias. Any thoughts or comments/

 

I heard they make alot of noise on cold starts. Other then that, ive heard mixxed reviews about them, mostly good.. I have no first hand experience tho, so i am useless, hehe

 

Oh , cuz i was looking at running the CP's this time around , but i wanted to see what people thought about the Arias since he builder reccomended them .

 

from what ive heard/seen, CP all the way. My gfs getting a set for her h22, i would, but I scored some Endyns for $250, cant beat that!

 

I have a set of Arias. No noise at start up for me. I don't know what else to say...they're pistons...not much more to comment on.

 

I am running arias in my motor, and i love them! i just over boosted saturday night on them, blew the head gasket but didnt blow the pistons, this was 30-35psi on Pump gas! the gasket just didnt like it!

Yes, Arias pistons used to have a lot of piston slap because of the old metalergy. However due to new forging process and new metalergy, they do not sound like a diseal motor anymore. I had the old pistons in my car and there was a lot of piston slap, however, the new set that just went in a couple of weeks ago sound really good. A lot of your favorite racers are running Arias pistons.
