Default Greddy GSR DP on LS

I bought a gsr turbo kit for my ls, its the greddy kit

anyways i found out that the dp is too short since the gsr apipe is shorter, do you know if i get the gsr cat, will it fill in the 2 inch gap and still bolt to my ls catback?

also the gsr has the o2 bung in the beginning of the cat for OBD1 as far as i know, will i be able to use my o2 senson there, because the dp doesnt have the bung for it?

thanks

Why don't you just weld, or get someone to weld some sort of extension on to your dp? I think that would be cheaper than buying a cat. I mean theres not a lot of labor required.

Just have a shop extend the downpipe by two inches. Should cost like $50.

yea that was my next option, to exrend the GSR dp to LS spec and add an o2 bung, is that how thw LS DP fro mthe greddy is? with the 02 bung in the DP?

I might even get a 2.5 DP while I'm at it...

any other suggestions? anyone have a greddy LS DP and need a GSR DP?

I had the same issue, however after looking at that downpipe you may want to have a custom downpipe made with a bigger diameter. I went 2 1/2 and it you can feel the difference.. They can use the ends of your existing downpipe..

Revhards 2.5 sell for about $150-$160, then you just need flex pipe and a flange
