Fading on carbon fiber hood

what are you suppose to do when the cf hood starts to fade? any help will do

Replace it, or color match it to your car.

Or you can sand down the clear coat and re clear it. If its a nice hood maybe you could get a quote on re clearing it at a paint shop.

A good body shop could reclear it. My first CF hood also faded after 9 months (it was a seibon) and my body shop cleared it. Then I bought a VIS one and it has not faded or cracked even after 3 years...

I got my cf hood re-cleared after it faded. shouldn't be more then 150 at a shop but I paid 70 bucks because I bought him food haha.

yeah just get a new clear coat put on it and also next time use the the spray that they make to protect it from the sun
