Default stock muffler flow?

i'm wanting to switch to a quieter muffler on my hatch (92 cx). i swapped my tanabe rm for an es universal hoping it would quiet things down.. several people told me it woud so for a $100 i thought i'd give it a shot.. but the thing is still too damn loud. i was thinkin about maybe hookin a stock muffler up.. now i've heard some people say there's problems running an itr muffler due to it being longer than civic muffler's.. check this post-

now even tho houston said it wouldn't work blackhatchlu is running one now, so it sounds like it does work. now i don't know if blackhatchlu is runnin sway bars or not, but i have an itr rear bar.. is that gonna cause headaches? if it won't work, are there any other 'recommended' stock mufflers? does an itr muffler flow any better than a gsr or ls? what about stock 92-5 si muffler's- do they outflow the cx or vx mufflers? i'm dyin to get things quieted down and i know i'm gonna lose a little power doing it, that's why i'm trying to find out which one will cause the least amount of powerloss.

please gimme some suggestions..
thanks.
