Default D16 DOHC motor question...

My buddy has a D16 DOHC motor from a first gen integra. I was reading that it would be a direct drop into my del Sol and other 92-95 civics. Is it really a Obd1 motor and will my tranny mount up? I think that the tranny on the D16 is cable. What changes would I have to make for the tranny to work considering that my car is hydro?

Any help would be appreciated.

1 i don think they made a dohc with the stamping d16

2 its gotta be a cable tranny you need a hydrolic trans

3 its probibly not obd1 maybe obd 0

so you would need a b series trans and a obd1 ecu, and you would probibly need to use your harness

yea 87-89 integras had dohc motors equivilant to ZC i beleive but they were pre obd, and are NOT direct boly in motors for 92-95 civics and they did have cable trannies. by the time yo finished changing everything on that motor and taking care of the tranny predicimant you are better off getting the correct moros for your car

yes, zc's are d series, if it came from a earlier teg then he is definately talking about 86-89 tegs, and yes they are cable as well as non-obd
