Hey i have an 88 crx hf and i just swapped in a y7 cause i blew my old motor up and needed a quick fix. I used my intake and dizzy which ran fine before but it wont start. the motor turns over good and im gettin fuel but im not gettin any spark. i also just put a new cap and rotor button on. Someone mentioned resetting the ecu but how exactly would i do that?

 

Do you have any codes on the ecu?

 

If you have no spark make sure that you have a functioning coil and igniter. Both are common probs on older Hondas. To reset the ecu pull the hazard fuse for 10 seconds. hth

 

double check you wiring
specially the main ground juction by the thermostat housing
have you done a basic ignition test
