well I had a great time at battle this weekend..track was hooking well and got to see bisi's car up close..thats a bad *** ride! I saw him run a 10.09 today which was cool and I think they have a strong team thats works good together.they even prayed together while holding hands before the finals. to bisi..I also had fun in my street car with a best of 12.43 @ 119 mph..battle was fun (little hot out) but all in all was a blast..

Iam sorry you had a bad time dvs..but this is my home track and Iam kinda attached to it.

I dont know anyother results as I was racing and only went up to see bisi due to the fact I know he will run 9's soon..

We never made a full pass... we qualified 2nd with a 10.63... basically testing a new setup but not pushing it... then in RND 1 the Sterring rack broke a threw the car to the center line...

Trust me we are glad it broke at 60' and 660' because the car was on a full pass for the first time of the weekend...

BTW Russo... i need a haircut!

Plenty of clean passes... but we were using this event as a test for next weekend... glad we did too, we found some very interesting things that will help us for next weekend... the best thing of the weekend! not 1 tranny problem!!!!!

I think the dvs guys are going to suprise us next weekend too

 

Battle was a fun event, we were there with our car but on the first run we blew a head gasket. so we ended up watching the rest of the day. in the allmotor class, Bisi took first and DTR took second. The turbo class was made up of 3 cars and they were all DNR cars so they took the whole class with dave taking 1st and joe taking second and eddie taking 3rd. DNR also took 2nd in the street class and
Sinister took the braket class. it was a small turnout but a well orginized event. I hope we can get our block situation taken care of so we can stay on the track.

Way to go on the 2nd place finish for Danny!! Looks like he made the right decision to go to battle instead of NOPI.

in the ss class, who won that one? there were only 3 cars in that class too( a type r i believe, a prelude, and a newer civic hatch)...
