Default 510whp/375 ft/lb B16 on pump gas *Update with Dyno graphs*

haha, with a little bit of meth injection to go along with it.

THE PICS SAY FLYWHEEL, but it is really WHEEL HORSEPOWER
this was on a dynopac at Eurospeed Performance in Cary, NC

2.0l b16
crower rods
crower crank
crower stage 2 turbo cams
crower valvetrain
unported head
SC61
http://www.overblownmotorsports.com manifold
3" dp
3.5" exhaust to Apexi' N1 muffler
borrowd 35mm Tial, until HKS comes in
also...SHITTY *** piping all hacked up from a rev-hard stage 2c (2.5" sitting...waiting on the new intercooler)
intercooler out of rev-hard 2c....soon to upgraded as well.
880cc injectors
68mm TB
Edelbrock Victor X manifold

DAILY DRIVEN

it took 27 psi and meth injection...but it did it. It also did a cool 470 on straight 93 pump no meth.

as soon as i can find a host...i'll get video's up.

THIS WAS UNTUNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO CAM GEARS CHANGES OVER 0,0
NO TIMING CHANGES OTHER THAN TO GET IT RUNNING
PIG RICH AT AROUND 10.9:1 a/f!!!

Sick ****, great numbers.

Do you inject the meth similar to a dry shot of nawwz?

the meth is injected using a controler in the AEM EMS, and is directed in right after the intercooler

look on the left side of the 1st picture...you can see the injector nozzle...

did you say 470?!? on 93 pump (GAS?!?)?!? w/o the injection.

nice... very nice... more to be made too. some oversize valves/ headwork and some other little tricks you could make even more.

510 WHP on pump gas, that's gross!

So 7.6:1-8:1 compression, eh? How did you get it so low?

I am curious whats up with the flywheel graph labeling on the top...?

flywheel hp/ torque does not = front wheel hp/ torque obviously so... is this a flywheel rating then? why did they label it if it is a wheel rating?

List your ENTIRE setup please, in DETAIL if you don't mind! Are you injecting just meth or a mix of meth/water, and what atomization nozzle, or kit are you using? Very impressive!

awesome numbers. I was curious on the meth Injector setup. What did you use to make that work, and how much are you injecting? Could you list your setup on that? Us cali ppl got 91 octane cat p*ss gas, would be nice to be able to run somehting like that.

the meth kit we are using came from http://www.derekdevises.com

its designed to be run with the aem ems and controled by one of the aditional injector outputs. we were running into some problems with the wiring so we didnt spend much timing tuning b/c it wasnt running progressivly like it should have been. basicly all or nuthing, not what we want. im not sure on teh exact specs of the nozzle but it works, and it works good. the i/c pipes got all frosty on the dyno and after about 6 runs at 500hp the intake manifold was COLD to the touch. running 50/50 water and methanol

for boost control, well there really wasnt any. we are using a gm soleniod and the aem ems to control the boost but when you have a broken wastegate you really cant. we borrowed a tial 35mm but it had a 4psi spring in it making it basicly useless.

we are running a coil on plug setup. with just a msd we couldnt get reliable spark above 18psi. we did get a slight miss in the first few runs with the methanol b/c of it running so rich, thats why the red and blue graphs are so jagged. leaned back to about 11:1 and it smoothed out.

got the muffler from nopi

the dyno says flywheel b/c thats just what the dynapack software labels it as. there is a correction we can input to actually chart flywheel hp but we leave the correction at 1 so there is no correction.

this phil is in durham

setup
b16 with 89mm stroke, 84.5mm bore
je 8.5:1 pistons
crower rods and crank
cometic high boost headgasket... that lowers it to somewhere between 7.5 and 8:1
stock head
crower turbo cams
jg/edlebrok intake manifold
overblown manifold and 3 inch downpipe
precision sc61 turbo, 0.60 a/r, 56 trim t04e on the compressor, 0.63 a/r, 76 trim t350 on the turbine side
3.5 inch exhaust with apexi n1 muffler
revhard i/c and hacked up i/c piping
aem ems with gm soleniod for boost control, 5bar map, aem uego, aem egt
honda cbr 600f4i coils with superior engine technology's 4 chanel coil driver
delphi 880cc injectors
http://www.derekdevises.com methanol injection kit with 50/50 water mix, once we get the meth working properly we will goto 100%
s4c tranny w/quaife lsd with a pos act xtss clutch... dont ask me how/why its still holding, but i dont think its gona last too much longer

i know there is way more power in the car. running mid 10:1 afrs we were hitting 85% duty on the 880's at 65psi base fuel pressure and the methanol. there is way more than 510hp worth of fuel going in there. there is prolly another 80-100hp left in this car

i think thats it. the car is a daily driver but needs some boost control b/c 510 is useless on the street cept for doing burnouts in 4th gear goin down the highway. oh and it gets around 25mpg

http://www.overblownmotorsports.com made the manifold and downpipe. the i/c piping is some hacked up ****... like 2 inches going into the i/c and 2.25 or 2.5 coming out... complete junk. got 2.5 goin in soon as the new i/c getts in
