Default B16/H22 Swap Decision

Hey guys,

I'm sure many of you on the board have a b16 swap and even some an h22 but it might be more uncommon. I've got 2 longblocks in my garage... H22 Bottom end is sleeved and waiting for forged internals, and the B16 is going into the shop soon... the decision is what should i put in the crx? the car is a project and the extra work for H22 doesnt really scare me... it will be boosted, although thats what will be the tricky part, fitting a turbo will be close to impossible with an h22...
If i go with b16.. i will likely end up sleeving the bottom end with a local shop and end up with a turbo, leaving the h22 build for my prelude.. but in the long run what will build a stronger car... ? turbo b16 or turbo h22... turbo/h will render it almost undrivable on the street.. so any opinions?

thanks man, I'm weighing the options... since alot of people make big nums with b16... but then again it has no torque.. i'm going to hit you on aim for any info you can provide me, thanks!

well if you do the h22 turbo, you'll have a hell of a lot of torque...probably too much for a light crx as far as traction is concerned. thats just my opinion. although theres someone on this board with a nice blue crx that hes building with a turbo h22...i'm sure you could search for that post. then you can see what you're getting yourself into. he had pics and stuff on a site somewhere.

Yeah, it sure looks like I'm going the H22 route... its going to give me a chance to learn a little welding and what not.. i've heard there are boltin kits for it now?... i dont think for the crx, but possibly for an eg... so yeah, that guys setup is pretty damned impressive.. the shop thats doing his work is also in austin.. never heard of dalihite or whatever its called... maybe i can drop by and see it.. i've seen a few other H22 crx's here in austin.. about 3 others.. but none turbo like this..

h22 it is.. now to find the proper internals... :D, its going to take me alot longer to build since i'm doing the work myself but it will be worth it come next summer.. hopefully it will be done then... !

thanks for the heads up all.
