that's some scary ****.. what if the rear end kicked in and you went off into lala land? Definately get a new header and plenum, that should help the breathing and increase the power.

i think 2 things are holding it back

the stock manifold and the si ecu.

i plan on a gsr ecu i also have conversion harness i think i will get a chipped p28.

a 1g b16 head.

i unhooked the rear drive shaft

and its a 5speed

That's what I was thinking. Good **** though. There was a guy at a show I talked to that had the electron blue one with a Built bottom end, ITR head and all teh Mugen goodies for it with gunmetal TE37's. MmmmmHmm.

-looking at the dyno chart- Ummmmm, yeah.... that thing needs some tuning. The VTEC is too appearant, and the torque is very bumpy.

the first pic i've seen of a crv on a dyno But definately your numbers do seem a bit low...Get the new manifold, run a cai, a chipped ecu, and just basically let your car breathe!

damn mark why didnt you tell me you were going to dyno, i would have come up with you.

A few things I can think of....

The bigger engine will breath better if you ran a 2.5" exhaust. A larger exhaust seems to always really help the 2.0 liter. Also a header. We need to get started on a header for the crv man. Just search through here man. Nobody that makes good numbers runs smaller than 2.5" exhausts.
And the ecu has to go. You can tell it really needs a lower vtec point and I'm sure it would like some more fuel throughout most of the midrange, as it looks like you're running pretty lean there.

Do you have the FP tuned?

actauly i made 2hp more moving the vtec up from 4500 to 5k.

but yes 2.5 is on the way and so is a good header.

i am looking for a gsr ecu for it. also maybe some itr cams.

one thing to note: i noticed that during the runs the lights in the dash would dim like it was loosing voltage. also i have a cfk sensor bad. would that cause problems?

I have the same rims on my CRV. Nice! Bump up the compression with new pistons and see how much you gain then .

what is all this **** about drivetrain loss and "what if the back tires kick in?"

it's obviously a front wheel drive crv no realtime

I'd say check cam timing, and maybe try a run with the restrictive muffler disconnected.

Mark! We have to get your vehicle running hard!

The only things that i can think of is about the same things that everyone else has put up so no need in repeating.

When do you think that you are going to go back to the dyno? Me, you and Blake all need to get to the dyno!
