usdm/jdm red valve cover?

usdm/jdm red valve cover?
guys, is there really a difference? i have the factory one in my '01 R, and i saw one labeled "jdm" in the display case in a shop for $270. or is it just in appearance? thanks.

dohc and vtec are transposed. nothing too special, they just look a little different. just get whichever is cheaper - especially if you're gonna cut it for cam gears anyway...
