i currently have a momo steering wheel with a momo hub and LTB quick release. with this setup the steering wheel is a good 3" or so further from the dash. this allows me to get my knees under the steering wheel for proper heal/toe driving.
does anyone know if there is a spacer that could be used to get the same results with a JDM ITR steering wheel?? when installed the steering wheel is just about the same distance as stock and won't work for me.

I can't imagine how it would work since ...
[hub] [spacer/quick release] [steering wheel] <---momo/aftermarket
[built in "hub" + JDM ITR steering wheel]
No place to put on a spacer.

If that's the case. Fellow H-T member "SBE" has already done what you are wanting to do. He likes to sit so far back, that when he looks to the side he's peeking out through his quarter panel windows (gangster). Therefore he needed to extend the steering wheel closer to his driving position.
He made a custom billet adapter that is longer than the OEM hub it replaces.
So by that token, it's absolutely do-able.
Furthermore, I remember old time member Benjamin Tang saying the non-SRS hub is just like any other aftermarket hub in respect that it's removable & interchangeable. If that's so, you might be able to just add a hub extender.
Like this 30mm spacer.
