Just came back from the track today
All i have to say is.....I am VERY happy how my car handled with it's stock, 164K mile suspension. I thought the rear was going to be tail happy. Not the case. It was VERY predictable.
Fortunately, my 4WS worked the whole time. A few times I chose the wrong lines...and the car got LIGHT. That's a scary feeling.
It was AWESOME hearing my instructor say, "Smooth........get on it...get on it" so that I made the guy ahead of me let me pass.
The instructor I had for the 4th and 5th runs was REALLY cool. He REALLY encouraged me.
I still have a lot of work ahead of me.....but man...tracking is SOOO much fun.
I learned A LOT today. I can't wait until tomorrow!!!
Here are a few pics:

This Porsce....FLEW by me!!!

Thats a good deal. I'm going to limerock on Nov 10. $205 for 5 20min sessions with instructor + $35 NASA membership. Can't wait either. I just hope my ST rear ARB comes in by then.

Yeah, track is where all the fun is. I think drag racing is ghey IMO...particularly in a Prelude.
I KNEW when I posted this I would get A LOT of views...but few responses.
It was funny...when the head guy from the Ferrari club called the turns on the track the "Talent Section".....and the long straightaways the "Talentless Section". He also said that ANYONE can drive a fast car fast....but to drive a slow car fast around the track takes skill and talent. He said that being fast on the straightaways is ALL the car...not the driver. He is TOTALLY right. I saw one guy adjusting his driving gloves as he was shooting down the straightaway. LOL

drag racing isn't all that but when ur car is running 12's and u run a fast *** car and you handle insane, i think that sthe best ****. my goals are to hit 12's with a FULL OUT suspension set up cuz i loveeeee road racing. wouldn't u think thats down tho? not only your fast on the straight but your fast on the turns cuz you have stiff *** susp. and awesome handling and u konw how to drive.
