Other things to get done when tuning suspension
So, i'm pulling out some old Neuspeed Race springs and raising my car up w/ some H&R OE Sport springs along w/ shocks and sway bars. Does anyone have any suggestions for parts to change while i'm at it? The Neuspeed Race springs have killed the current shocks and i think some rubber bushings are dead too. Can you recommend which rubber bushings I should change while I'm at it also? Thanks for the help.
I think your best bet would be to get a urathane bushing kit from Energy Suspension...It might take a little bit to install but it will really tighten up the car. Check the bearings on your front end, there should be 3. the upper arm, the lower arm and the tie-rod. make sure there not to loose, they should be tight and well packed full of grease. you can get replacements for about $30 a pop. the upper arm is one piece though...and the bottoms have to be pressed in and out. oh...and youll need a ball joint seperator...i think you can usually rent those. other than that just check the overall integrity of the susp.
