What clutch for DOHC ZC?
If you have a 88 and a 88-89 flywheel use the 88 clutch set.
If you have a 88 with a 90-91 flywheel use the PP from the 90-91 and a 88 Accord disk. ACT also sells an 88 "upgrade" clutch set that works with the 88 tranny and the 90-91 flywheel
If you have a 89 with a 88-89 flywheel use the 89 clutch set.
If you have a 89-91 with a 90-91 flywheel use the 90-91 clutch set.
Hope this helps.
edit- If the tranny shaft has no grooves on the input shaft then its a 88 tranny. If it has one groove its a 89, and 2 grooves means its a 90-91. I know this is true for USDM trannies but I beleive the ZC trannies are the same. If I am wrong someone please correct me.

ok listen to me not that dude..
88 only has a 21 spline clutch
89-91 has 20 spline
use the clutch for the year crx u have.
i suggest swapping 89-91 tranny/axles b.c its a lil better perforamnce wise. go to autzone and say u need a clutch for what year u have. they will know, but btw check to make sure that the throwout bearing included is the right one, today i had to take my engine out AGAIN b.c it wouldnt go in gear b.c of those ********* at autozone didnt give the right one

Use the clutch, flywheel, and transmission off your CRX. Keep the years of all of them the same - engine year won't matter. The spline-count refers to the transmission INPUT shaft - where it goes into the clutch (the splined part) and the flywheel pilot bearing (the smooth part on the end of the shaft). If you keep the flywheel, tranny, and clutch years the same, you won't have a problem.
Mixing and matching can create problems, because in four short years of making the second-generation CRX, Honda used THREE different flywheel sizes. The sizes are actually the same, but the friction surface sizes changed (190mm in '88, 200mm in '89, and 212mm in '90 and '91). I'm pretty sure those are the correct figures. If the measurements are off, the years are still correct.
The '88 CRX uses a 21-spline input shaft. '89-'91s use a 20-spline. Still, I wouldn't want to try the '89 clutch on a '91 flywheel.
To save time and hassle, and the probability of parts not matching, order from http://www.clutchcityonline.com. They sell the complete Clutch Kit (made by Exedy, which is part of Daikin, who made the original CRX clutches) for about $114 shipped. It includes clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool. Couldn't be easier.
