Since I can't afford SRD's I was wondering how does the ep3 seat? I know it's not as bucket and it's high but I was wondering has anyone modify the bottom of the seat (cut down the padding) so it would seat lower. I've seen people lower their seat in miatas because they're too tall for it and it works pretty good.

Also if there are any problems or cons are about the ep3 seats that I don't know about. Would you say it's more bucket then 96 gsr leather seats (that's what I have now).

Cosmetically I think they are excellent seats and they weigh a respectable 35lbs.

If you are interested in using a harness, the hole doesnt seem wide enough, but some people have probalby found a way.

 

what do you think they would look in a 96-00 coupe?

they are bigger then srd's right?

 

You'd probably need to fabricate or buy rails to make them fit, and that's the best way to make them lower anyways, right? I think they would be a nice match.

Where are you located? Im thinking of selling mine and upgrading someday.

but I was just wondering. if it's this much work then I might as well save up for some SRD's later on.

You can get a pair of USDM SRDs in Avus fabric for only slightly more than the price that I've seen EP3 seats selling for. Proper rails for your car are extra.
