im writing this as a test to see if i get a decent response.. i live near pittsburgh pa.."waynesburg" and i see theres a little bit of a scene around this area.. uniontown,morgantown pittsburgh itself..all have pretty good scenes. i am starting an ef club.. and i have a decent sponsor "direct importer" of jdm engines..tba after i see what this response is like .. let me know..

Check out some of the NHSCC and Steel Cities SCCA autocross events.

The final NHSCC event of the season will be held at North Park this Sunday. I will be there co-driving Mattamotor's 1990 Civic Si Street-Mod beast.

Anyways. Im waiting to get ahold of a another OS so I can start up a site.. more then likely its gonna be PAAreaHondas.org.

For now Ive been just slutting around Pittspeed.com and PittRacing.coms forums and here... No one ever fricken posts in my threads in the meets section anymore. oh well. Meets wont be happening for a while, unless I organize a hooters meet or something. Anyways. my AIM is always on unless im having internet problems.. as soon as the sites up it will be posted on here.

 

well if you want to get something started im down.. im trying to get people to go see what uniontown is like on friday night.. i havent been able to do much with my new son and just moving back.... im in the beginning stages of building my shop..2 car with loft..measuring out everything and calling misutility.. gonna do a little side work considering theres no one around who works on honda/acura in the area..just hooked up with a new engine distributer as well.. no over head for me and i get to pick engines by hand.. "not a ship and hope" sweet deals on obd-0 honda swaps,4g63's (dsm) sr20's at times etc.

Oh trust me there are a TON of backyard mechanics in the brownsville area. And the guys at Hybrid Dynamics are big honda freaks... the one owneer has a 97 ITR turbo with around 370 to the wheels and another one of the guys that works there has a 95 coupe with a built *** GSR. THe scene is slow as **** in this area.

As for UT... well, you gotta really KNOW someone that hangs out there to really like the area.

Alot the of the ppl in that area are real uptite unless you know them, I was fortunate to become friends with a honda guy out that way, he doesnt visit Honda-Tech much, but a knowledgable guy, helped me fix my wreck *** integra. Im not gonna post up the locations of where every one crawls at, but I know of a few spots out that way... I just havent been out there since the cops kicked everyone out of the old Kmart and roped it off... to many morons drinking and racing fucked that up big time.
