key Wont Come OUt

hey my frined just got a automatic v6 2000 accord and it was working fine.. then he tried to change shiftnob.. it didn't work so he put stock on back on now his key wont come out? anyhelp anyone?

I did the same thing on my 2001 4banger. When you put the stock one back on you must have left a spring out.

i just took apart the shiftnob agian and put it back and it worked
