Im not sure if that plastic summit seat or that carbon fiber seat is legal unless you build somekind of steel tube backbone for it like the rule book says....anyway,I like and going to get the Kirkey..

carbon kevlar omp... bar far the most comfortable seat i have ever sat/driven in... feels like im in a couch type comfortable... seat weighs 5 pounds... add an extra pound for the seat bracket
Im not sure on the brand seat I have but Its light as a feather( they look just like the kirkey)...hit up jasonp he'll give you a good deal on them. -pdang

I have a sparco carbon fiber seat (roadster model, but they discontinued the CF version years ago). almost brand new. The shell weighs only 6 pounds

for mine I was going to pull the brackets off the botom of my old seat, and see what I can come up with, maybe some kind of carage bolt would work too... just going to do a little trial and error to see what works...
as far as weight goes... I belive it is 12lbs for the one I have wich is the 10* layback, they do make one that is like 6 or 7lbs, but it is a bit more pricey like $500. +
