noise when turning.
A friend of mine has a 94 civic hatch. When turning left he hears a clunking noise with slight vibration coming from the passenger side. He's gotten an alignment, changed the axles, and changed the front passenger side wheel bearing. We checked for rubbing of tires but no signs. We're stumped! Any suggestions will be appreciated.
He has a vx motor and tranny. He says he's using stock dx axles. He never had the problem before. He started hearing the clunking noise so he replaced the axles with a new pair, but the noise is still there. So i'm not sure if you would still consider the axle length an issue.
I would of said the CV joint but you said the just replaced the axles i had this hapen on my si it took me 1 year to figueit out.the only onther possiblity is may a upper or lower ball joint.
