Default Baseball season over - it's fender rollin' time

Wal-Mart has moved all their baseball bats to the clearance section. I picked up a nice Rawlings Sammy Sosa Little League model, in black-painted ash with a silver stripe, for $3.00. I plan to make a bit more clearance of my own this weekend, since the bumps at Summit brought fender and tire together several times when I was there last.

Guess I'll keep it in the trailer after that. Always something that needs persuasion during a race weekend. Just call me the curmudgeon with a bludgeon.

They make great hood/hatch props too.

a baseball bat isnt necessary to roll fenders. a more proper way is just using a light hammer and rag or sandbag to bang in the lip.

...you could drive over speedbumps with wheels that are way too big.

Angle grinder would take care of the lip nicely I would imagine.

Naw, just shove a bat up in there. Here's a good technique:

Now do the corked bats work better then the regular bats, seeing it is a Sosa bat and all
