The EVC EZ II is finally out! This is the boost controller we have been waiting on for a year. The original EVC EZ was undoubtedly the best Electronic Boost Controller (EBC) on the market. Upon its sudden discontinuation in April of 2002 we were left without a solid EBC choice. Although the Blitz EBC's are all excellent choices, none of them offered the ease of turning a single **** & getting boost. The Profec B works great up to about 21psi and then it fizzles out. The AVC-R has never been our premier choice of EBC's for numerous reasons. And now, finally, the EVC EZ is back in its latest form. The EZ II is even better than the original EZ. Not only does it use a better stepping motor (for quicker & more accurate turbo spool) but the EZ II has a low boost & high boost select feature like the Profec B. The EVC EZ II is the most simplified version of HKS’ electronic boost controllers, but still utilizes the same proven stepping motor as the EVC 5. With the same ''state of the art'' closed loop stepping motor, you are insured the most accurate and stable boost levels possible. Boost pressure will rise faster and earlier in each gear and be maintained without fear of over-boosting. Also the EVC EZ II is capable of being upgrade to a full EVC unit by simply adding an EVC Display unit (purchased separately).

Compact Design - The new ¼ DIN control unit and stepping motor are all compact in design, making for easier installation and mounting inside the cockpit and in the engine compartment; Intelligent Stepping Motor - A CPU is imbedded into the stepping motor. This creates more direct and accurate control as the CPU virtually eliminates lag time between the stepping motor and control module. Thereby increasing linear boost control and stability. A wide range of boost control is possible, from stock boost all the way up to 250 kPa (2.5 bar / 36.25 psi); Easy Boost Set-Up - 2 individual boost levels can be easily set by simply turning the volume ***** of the control module; 2 Mode Boost Setting Function - Separate A and B boost level settings can be tuned according to the user’s preference and can be switched via the control module or display unit; Stock Boost Return Function - When the EVC is turned off, the boost level setting will automatically return to stock (baseline boost); Upgradeable - By adding an EVC Display unit user's will upgrade their EVC EZ II to a full EVC unit with all the additional features; Scramble Boost, Digital/Analog Boost Display, Warning Function and etc.; Wastegate Selection Function - Can be used with either internal (swing valve) or external (poppet style) wastegates.
