Default CTR Intake Cam

I noticed the CTR cams going for $250 shipped in one of the threads in the Best Buy forum. Hmm, I can swing that. What are the advantages (dyno sheets would be nice) to running a CTR intake cam? What about the exhaust cam? TIA.

the CTR cam is the exact same as the 00-01 type r's, honda put the cam in to increase Hp, after they had to have cleaner emmisions, It has been tested by a couple of places now, correct me if im wrong, i had one in m 00 type r, and i felt no differance, now i know why

So would there be any advantage to using a '97 or '98 ITR intake cam, since it seems like you are saying that they are different?
