Default Out of curiousity....

I was thinking about buying an accord hatchback.........I thougth they were Carb. but realized after checkin out some pics they are FI.......my question is.....can you swap any other motors into them? has anyone done it? anyone have links to some info for me? im lookin for a new car cuz some punk *** kids took a wooden post and beer bottles to my 89 civic sedan and totally destroyed it after my MPFI swap anyways any info would b appreciated!

3rd gen hatchies come in both carb and EFI. DX is carb'd, LX-i is EFI. B-series swaps in, or you can build the A20 up as well (don't listen to the naysayers!). Check out the 'engine swaps' section and the 'performance' section on 3geez.com. Lots of info about this kinda stuff.

Sean and Johnny O. are the peeps you want to talk to for some real buildup info. Johnny O.'s 87 LX-i hatch is running 11.4 in the 1/4, and it's still the A20A3 with some goodies
