hey can u swap a b-series dohc vtec head onto a b21 prelude block?? it might be a stupid question but a answer would be great

its benn done but it will cost you just as much to do as an h22 swap with less hp in the end

Just swap a h22. It is worth it in the long run.

wait one more thing, what about weight distribution. would the b21 even out the weight better than the h22 in a crx. http://ludicrous2_0.tripod.com/vtec/ , this site says i can get a good amount of power from it

the VTEC on the B21 is an all out bad idea, the head doesnt line up all that well, and requires a lot of custom work where in the end the money you put out wont be worth the crappy reliability and little bit of power gain you get from it.

if you have seriously deep pockets, i guarantee there are a lot of people that would spend money if you developed a kit for this to work, but IMO and the the opinion of the guy who wrote that page its not worth it at ALL

its going to a CRX, you are better off swapping in a B16 or H22 rather than what you seem to be thinkin about
