I want to know if I can beat my friends MR2, he's had his car for a while, and I'd always tell him that I'm gonna beat him once I get my Prelude. Well here are the details. I just bought a 1997 Honda Prelude - Mugen Twin Loop Exhaust, Ice Man CAI, DC Short Shifter (probably wont do much). He has a 2000 MR2 Spyder - Team Moon "Dual" Exhaust, AEM CAI, PPE Headers and High Flow Cat. He dynoed his car and results were that he made 131hp to the wheels with 114 Torque. Preludes make about 163 to the wheels stock i think, so with my upgrades, i think i'm at about 170 to the wheels. Ludes are about 3000 lbs and his car is only 2200 lbs. Just want to know what people think, and also include your quarter mile times, cuz he's sayin he can do 14.4 but i don't believe him.

 

o, i'm racing, thats for sure, just want to know what you think, i'll also have a v-afc by the time I race, so that might be a factor.

 

I thought I remember hearing that those cars are extremely underpowered....it sounds like a decent race tho....but id put 50 on you
