Energy Suspention Motor Mount inserts
OK, I've done a search and found out that the Energy Suspension motor mounts only cover the Front and the Rear. I have a torn motor mount on the timing belt side (Driver side). It's actually kind of strange, the rubber must be oil filled cause when it tore, oil started leaking out of the mount...hmmmm strange.
Anyhow, do I have to go back to Honda to buy that motor mount or is there a "stiffer" aftermarket one that I can purchase?
Thanks for your help guys!

There's always the place racing solids mounts........ overboost.com has them, they're like 160 something each.... don't buy all four thou, you'll regret it
yeah, the front and back ones are the "torque" mounts, designed to keep the engine movement to a minimum. i have them in my car, and its rides fine.
as for as the ones your looking for, my friend just bought some of the side ones for his 4th gen, next time i talk to him ill ask him what kind they are.

you can get some plastic welding epoxy to fix the mount too. the one you're talking about was ripped in half on mine, it's holding together alright now.
Also, low cost window urethane is an excellent substitute for the mount inserts. It can be found at any hardware store and is packaged in tubes much like caulking.
If you let it properly dry for a day or two prior to installation, it will posses the same qualities as standard urethane.

Guys, he's talking about the driver side hydraulic mount, not the rubber ones on the front, rear, & tranny. There's no inserts, or anyway you can repair it reliably if it tears. You either have to get a new one from Honda, or find one used somewhere. I don't know if the 4th gen used the same mount (or if it's at least interchangeable).
The only other possibility might be to convert to the rubber mount that was used in the 90-93 Accord. But I don't know if it mounts the same to the chassis or not.
