I designed these boxes on a CAD system and a lot of hours went into designing them. If you are or may be interested in purchasing plans, reply to this thread or IM me. I was thinking $10.00 for the plans is a fair price to ask. I would like at least 10 people to show interest before I take the time to compile the plans. As mentioned above, this is just to gauge interest, I’ll let all interested parties know if I do decide to sell the plans or not.

I designed and built these for a specific reason. 1. To keep useful trunk space, and 2. To keep the fold down seat accessibility. Technically speaking, I’m sure they aren’t in the optimum position, but form follows function, and the function here is optimizing space. I think they sound great and everyone who’s seen and heard these in person seem to be impressed by them.

The boxes were designed and drawn for 1 /2 inch material. I used 1/ 2 inch for weight reasons and I’m using under 500 watts RMS. No issues have risen after 2 years of service. I am running 10” subs, 8” would also work of course. 12”s will more than likely not work. Feel free to ask any questions. I want to all interested parties to know what to expect. This is what I want to include:

A PDF formatted package showing each box piece in 3 different views, and multiple measurements for each view. I also want to include some general instructions and a material list to help things along. And again, ask any questions.

P.S. – These are in a 00’ I’m not sure if they’d fit in 96’-98’. Does anyone know if the 96’-98’ coupe trunks are the same as the 99’-00’ coupe trunks? Please let me know.

If the plans can be adjusted to fit a 12" sub then I'm interested.

 

Unfortunately, that would require a complete re-design. I'm just offering what I have already. Sorry.
