I am about to install an alarm on my 94 gsr and am wondering if anybdy knows what the 5 pins that are located above the fuse box do. I am almost positive they are used with the factory alarm. They are numbered in my car like 5-4-1-2-3. 95 and 96 tegs should have the same wiring, but i think the layout changed with the 97 model. I think pin 5 is door lock - unlock and pin 2 is constant 12v but i am not sure.

 

Nope not used with the factory alarm. No door lock in those pins. There is a 12v power supply there and parking light, if I remember correctly.

 

I know 3 out of 5 .

12v+ Const power
12v+ when car is on
12v+ when parking lights are on.

other 2 are unknown to me.

Anyone else know?
