Default 5th Gen Prelude - FAL Flexite Windows

Trying to generate a bit of interest from Prelude owners to get FAL to make a 'street' kit for the 5th gen. The post is currently in the Road Race forum: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=650268

saw this @ PO.com...

i'll say that i'd be somewhat interested, but i'll reserve judgement until i know more about Flexite/Lexan. i think maybe a moonroof piece might be a neat addition to the kit.

i think a weight savings of at least 40 lbs is in order? sounds like it'd be worthwhile to the road racers and the draggers...

it would be great for a 5th gen. since i'm a CF *****, i'm down for putting my lude on a diet.

Just wait for the RacePlates CF Sunroof Plug for the sunroof, everyone likes CF and it's light

I am highly interested in the windows if they are somewhat scratch resistant, sometimes the drag cars I see at the track, have shitty looking scratches all over the place/ I would tint them dark as hell. I love how people are finally coming out with a bunch of cf and weight reduction products for the lude, gets me all excited, keemem comming. I have hood and trunk and am ready for atleast sunroof and possibly windows./

I wouldn't hold your breath. To make this work we'd need to secure 10 people with $550 each to buy the kit and we'd have to supply FAL with TWO (2) sets of stock Prelude glass.

I'm assuming the same sort of deal would have to happen with the 4th gen guys too.

I'm actually surprised more people aren't interested in this since it would save probably 50 lbs.
