h22a, h23a question
okay, somebody probably asked this before but oh well...here goes..can you use h22a vtec headers on an h23a non-vtec head? someone told me this isnt possible... but i work at a honda dealership..and theres an old guy who brings in his turbo 94 si non-vtec...he blew that motor and decided to build his h23a block and use a h22a vtec head..so now he has the h23a non-vtec block and the h22a vtec head...and to my disbeleif, he had the same turbo manifold off his h23a head, running on his h22a head...if headers arent interchangable like i have heard..how the hell is this guy running the same turbo manifold??

The ports and bolts coming out ofthe head aren't different, the route the pipe takes, hangers, shape, etc. of the header is the reason they usually won't fit. A turbo maanifold is different because the only place it mounts is to the head itself
