Default Compression Check

I am thinking of picking up this 91 accord for I guess a family ride kinda thing. The car has a H22 dropped in it but was turboed previously, and then the guy tried selling the car, and then parted the turbo kit, and went all motor again, and is now selling the car again. My question to you is:

I want him to compression check the motor infront of me, but what is good compression suppose to be? What numbers are good for each cylinder?

Default Re: Compression Check (safe driver)

make sure the motor is at operating temp first. make sure each cylinder is cranked an equall number of times. Compression should be about the same or
close on all four cylinders
