keep in mind that Not JUST ANY valvetrain is compatible with ANY camshaft. There are valvetrains out there that are way too STIFF for some cams out there. You have to pick a valvetrain that has the right spring pressure, specs for the cam you are using.

Just by saying... this "brand" is the best pick, doesnt mean its has the right spec for everysetup.

In general, I'd just use the OEM ITR ones to upgrade the stock valvetrain if you arent really planning on using a big cam. but if you do plan on using a big cam like JUN3 or SKUNK2 stg 2, then CHOOSE the proper valvetrain for that setup.

Im just looking for a nice daily driver, nothin super friggin fast...ok i lied. But i want somethin reliable

So far CTR cams/ITR valvetrain are winning lol.

Will they help me go to 200 whp (including headwork etc)?

Goal: 200 whp without juice, then 250~whp with juice

skunk2 stage 1's? I have the skunk cam gears right here with me...theyre expensive tho, whereas CTR cams are half the price!

You'll want stiffer springs than ITR if you run OE retainers. Consider yourself warned if you don't heed this advice. Valve Float is a real problem on these motors especially if you mis-shift.

We run 280+lbs on the nose of our cams for 1+ years at 11k rpms with no problems. There is heresay and their is experience. I've have stated what I know from experience.

GSR valvetrain friendly too. I've been running my stage 1's on my stock valvetrain for awhile now. No problems whatsoever.

Are you making good power at 8200 RPM? I was just hoping to make use of the higher rev for more power...

I saw your dyno run and it was bad ***, and Ive got a similar setup to urs (quite close) so im kinda excited
