STR tb made by same company as Erick's Racing? Do either make power for the ITR? Worth it?
Debating on getting the ER tb. The tb's (str and ER) look identical. Made by the same company? Anyone have any idea.
if you noticed its all the same design (aluminum CNC'd) they just CNC their own manufactur name on it and throw in out ont he market.. easy as that

Actually Erick is the brain child behind the TB's. He helped us design ours as well. RPM is a manufacturer. We design our own products and maufacture our own products. Erick helped us out on the TB, but we produce them in house, look for many more to come we will have Supra, Focus, Cavalier, Saturn, Skyline, RSX, S2000, SR20 and several more up to 110mm. We have been designing and producing products since 97 and hope to give you guys the best out there if you have any questions hit us up, we are always looking for new projects. Our throttle body also comes with a custom cut gasket.
Actually, have you seen BBK's product? They offer 2 sizes, 62mm and 70mm. http://www.bbkperformance.com/....html They have them in stock too!

STR, I have installed 3 of your throttle body's on customers cars and have noticed that when I put the TPS sensor on your throttle body it does not line up correctly. What I mean by this is the voltage is nowhere near the allowed adjustments given by the holes in the TPS. Im having to make the mounting holes in the TPS a little longer to achieve the right voltage reading for the TPS. Is the Notch for the TPS sensor adjustable? or are they fixed? I haven't been able to get them to move so thats why im asking. the next question is if it is not adjustable then how can we correct this problem so I don't have to modify the TPS sensor. thanks in advance.
The plastic TPS sensor's slotted mounting "holes" feature metal sleeves that are in them. I've heard that people can simply press these sleeves out with their fingers and that will allow more movement which may perhaps solve your problem.
Oh, and I know nobody asked about the BBK throttle bodies...I was simply introducing "alternatives"...and to perhaps divert the subject on the similarities of the Erick's Racing TB vs. STR Power TB.

OEM is the best ive tried everything from ericks to jg to str if they are billet aluminum they suck for everyday driving (full race applications they work awesome) I run an OEM Honda JDM Prelude Type-S 64mm stock and have never had problems. justr my opinion
Agreed....sometimes, OEM is simply just better for overall applications. ...even for racing. I've seen enough Hondas with Mustang or GM throttle bodies, etc.
