Default gtech tach good or not?

well has anybody tried this product? i made a search and found nothing. well it sounds accurate ... e.t.'s are w/in 5/100 of a sec.... and horsepower readings are within 5%... it has other functions as well... its price is 260 bucks... price seems reasonable... do you guys think it is a good buy or not? does anybody own one or used one before? here is there website if you guys do not know what im talking about. http://www.gtechpro.com

Buy one, then you can post you ran a 14 sec 1/4 mile time..
Gtech is very inaccurate.

And another thing.. Why would you post a 9.6 time in the 1/8 with naws? My old H23 with Bolt-ons got a 9.8 in the 1/8...Maybe you need a Gtech..

i have tohe old version and i have a nice flat road and good suspension

best i got on mine was 15.0 at like 95mph(mph always reads high)

and others are around 15.2 to 15.4.

i ran a 15.1 consistant at the track

there not bad for accuracy and they are great for consistancy

weight your car and do a baseline wehn you add a mod do it again .....the horse power isnt very accurate but like i siad its consistant.....youll still know if you gain any

IMO, its poop! I can never get a 0-60 or 60-0. It doesn't stop counting when you hit the brakes. The only thing I can get to work is the skidpad.

My friend had the old one and it was off by a decent margin. It always indicated better than the car was actually doing. Its also a bit of a hassle to set up and get right.

He eventually got rid of it and recently bought the new model. I haven't seen it personally, but based on the numbers he got its still over-estimating performance.

But regardless, its a fun thing to have. I wouldnt pass it off as completely useless. But you really shouldn't take it too seriously either.

I had the old one. Got it for free with 4 BFG tires. I would NOT spend $ on it though.
