Default Does a JDM CRX Si glass sunroof fit our USDM CRX's???

thats all i want to know, i have a hook-up on jdm stuff and can get one of these glass si sunroofs. i know the civic ones don't fit because they go inside the car rather then above the car like the crxs do. any help would be appreachiated!

also does anyone have a rust free sunroof skin for an 88-91 CRX? thanks!!!!

If you're talking about the "glass roof" than no. Not without extensive cutting.

the crx Si never cam with a glass sunroff. I have seen Std's (dx) with a factory option pop up glass sunroof. The civic si's on the other hand came with a glass sunroof.

I have seen it done, but to what I hear it is a costly mod, it heats up like mad in the summer, and takes a long time to do.

the JDM glass wont fit, you need to get the whole roof to do it, or get someone to do a custom job

I get RHD cars from Japan from time to time and have never seen a glass SUNROOF. Yes, Japan has the very nice full glass roof that doesn't open, complete with map lights, and they get a metal sunroof like ours, but have yet to see a sunroof made of glass. Maybe you saw some aftermarket option available oversea's. I've never even seen one on a Japanese website, but if you can find one, that's cool.........

I've seen it on a crx it's the same size as the metal one on the SI's and it tilts and slides back at an angle like / but much lower. It has a metal frame around and the middle is glass close to brownish/black.

Let me see it was in 1998 and I had no digi cam/ 35mm with me, it was in sri lanka. And I can't take a pic of a car that is driving down a street while I'm in a building.
