H22a Prelude specific (golden opportunity Opinions please....)
Lately i've been thinking heavily about going boosted.
and i might be parting out some things.....
one of which would be my euro-R manifold.
since i will be buiding a log style turbo manifold for power up top.
here are the pics.

fully bolt on manifold, for no mods, bolt an go. only issue there is no EGR, so you must get the hondata gasket, to block the port from the head. also no egr heater element so best to used with chipped ecu or non p13. or keep the egr but push it aside

as you can clearly see it retains the AIC for 92+ prelude and civics so no modifying your wiring or harness.

and as a bonus it comes ported and polished completely. so you get a good flowing manifold that's been enhenced. the cap has been alilunim tig welded and sealed. all manifold work has been fully tig welded not some bondo or jb weld crap.
only thing is i have no idea what i peice like this is worth!.... complete bolt on, no fual rail mod etc....
stock euro-r is what 250??? endyn manifolds are what 750$ ? what would this peice be worth.. i know i can't even come close to what i put in time in it, but not sure....
i've rarely "prototyped stuff before" so being alone here... i have no idea what would be a respectable sale price....
i put here since i'm certain i would get the best and most respectable price here.....
please don't pm for offers and such. post here. all your questions could be seen here.
this isn't finialized but will help me decide....
i just don't like the lumpy cams right now...
thanx for the feedback. no reply is bad.

well it will be with a built motor, not with a stock and well i will see greater gains than a stock motor with stock cams, so it will be nice to see but still pointless imo.
gives a comparison of how restrictive the stock im will be... nothing will match, i got a portflow head, ferrea valves etc, race header, that affects alot on how the motor breaths!!

I like the new moderator.
I agree. But you've got to envy the polish treatment.

hahahahahaha.....
well.... i guess i'll have to take some days off work to go the nearest dynojet. to bad it's some 800km travel distance to get you guys a damn dynosheet!
don't you think i wouldn't have gotten one sooner! gesh.
put up or shut up eh... (should i be offended..)

Of course not. I'm just saying i am a serious buyer so if you want the $$$ prove it. It's looks great but it's looked great for a long time and no results you know? I don't doubt it but I don't just pay for stuff that I don't know if it's good or not.

so why wouldnt this be for a bossted engine? if it truely flows better, then isnt that what you want for a turbo engine. im interested as well.
Because I have the ability to make a log type manfiold similiar to "str-venom- etc etc. I allready have an h22a flange, i just need a bit of time to do so.... it's just going a bit wilder with allmotor will cost as much as a turbo kit for what another 10-20 whp ? when i could possibly have a 350++whp build motor... kinda been thinking alot..
maybe i'll just grind the stock lobes on the stage 3s to a stock lobe configuration... its just the idle is starting to get to me...

I have no idea for price...
i have a stock manifold, but i pay by the hour and dyno time is 200/hour... and well it takes a good 30minutes to swap the manifold plus cool off time so granted to swap again that's 1 hour. so i'm sorry but finding out how much gains when in fact i know i'm gaining is kinda pointless for me, maybe to sell it.. it might help to sell but having to prove to sell it, then i'll have to add the cost of the dyno time it costed to prove it....
that's why most people won't share the're results for specific parts because they paid alot to know, and everybody want's something for free..
i know this is sharing and stuff, but i asked over 20 members aboutdyno sheets of mods they did and all i got was "well i have to scan it" and they never did send it...so why should i be any different. after all when people say put of or shut up, i will simply laugh at those remarks and smile because they have no idea who they are talking down to..
anyways... you guys heard the hipe of the euro-r claiming from 5-8whp, and bla bla.. until then i guess threat this one as is...
i'll post my final tune of my motor... you can then judge your own remarks from that.
take it as you wish, but i'm starting to hate the drama..

well me personally. i don't need a dyno sheet. i can tell by the pictures that it will flow a hell of a lot better than stock and much better than the euro-r what you did with that manifold is absolutely astonishing. doesn't even look like the euro-r anymore.
take some time to think about how long it took you to make. how many hours initial costs of all the parts. then add in the little phrase (don't expect to get back the same amount of money you invested when it comes to cars)
and then give us a nice ballpark price.

i paid 297US funds for it, from ebay. (back then that was the cheapest i found) after i payed brokage and duty fees being in canada it came to 557$ canadian after exchange rate and all. (i'll have to look for the exact repeipt)
I used about 90$ of Argon gas, for the Tig welder and two tungsten rods, and some filler rods in aluminum, I did buy some carbon bits for the shaping from snap one that set me back some 300 for the set, but those are new and still mint. total time used, my god, GF didn't speak to me for a week, after it ended up being a two month project on week-ends... not to mention days off and nights on it. i'll have to look to see if i documented the hours on it to be honest.
in polishing rolls and tips about 50$ in stuff, and also I hacked a h23 manifold to take the AIC sensor bung, and also the two rail tabs, then welded them on.
the manifold is somewhat polished (800 grit finish) although i painted it since nothing else in my engine bay was polished. (still under paint is polished.
to be honest I Honestly have no clue what a peice like this is worth... call me dumb but i don't know... since beginning to work on honda's eve never built or modified things before, this was actually my first aluminum project, where i learned to tig and do aluminum work also polishing work also....
the only problem here is not how to build and modify but to proove, since the nearest dynojet is some 300miles away, then i gotta drive back and also some 200$/hour pricing since they are the only ones for the atlantic shore of canada. Being in atlantic canada sucks for this.. the scene is not as evolved...

ya i understand you can make a nother one designed differnt. but my question still stands, would this be an improvement ove ra stock unit for a turbo'd car. my guess would be yes
