How will my car be as a daily driver with Toda Spec C's? I want to get God-Speed Motorsports' spec C package but I don't know. That is a big f*****g cam if you ask me.

the toda spec c package that i want comes with
Toda Spec C cams, Toda cam gears, Toda valve springs, titanium retainers, ECU harness, ECU (OBD II is removed, rev limiter is 9500, VTEC 7200), 440 injectors, Free Spoon Videa, and Free shipping. all for $3200. I thought that was an excellent deal.

Yeah, maybe that is a lot of cash. But it is safer and FI
Hm... this seems to be a common misconception you NA guys like to purport. How about this- when boosted, you don't need to rev to 40,000 RPM to get power like you do when you're NA. Revving puts tensile loads on rods. Rods don't like that.
Boost and be happy.

What about spec B's? Those can just be bolted in without the retainers, springs and ECU and still be safe right? With cam gear tuning, what do you think the gains will be?
Yeah well be prepared to build your bottom end because big cams need big compression and lighter rods/pistons at those high RPMs.
In the end you can spend $6000 tuning everything on that B16 and not be over 200whp?

N/A is FAR more responsive than any FI car... Honda's F1 driver a few years back said that he would much rather drive N/A than boosted because he felt N/A was more responsive, easier to tune, and just overall more fun.... I would think he knows more than the rest of us as he's driving all the time in race settings... N/A is the way to go.
