check engine light but no codes? here are my problems...
Ok i have a check engine light that turns on about 5 minutes after starting my car and stays on for the duration.
i've already checked for codes and nothing is coming up, before i was getting the VSS error but since i re-installed my stock cluster and evertyhing, i haven't had any problems but now i'm not getting any codes at all just that damn continous check engine light..
the only problem i have with my car is a erratic idle bouncing from 1K-1.2K, i've changed my eacv and checked all my vaccum lines...
also often when i release the gas or am accelerating my car will jerk for about a second...
these so far all the only symptoms i have, does anyone have any idea whats going on? oh yeah and my car is completely stock now d15b2

I hate that dam continous CEL. I'm expriencing the same dilema on MY vehicle.
everything works but the vtec and that dreading light stays. I gonna try to sort through my wires on the OBD 0-1 conversion i did. I'm praying ill my problems lies there.
As for the problem with the CEL, the manaul says to test a well known ECU. If the new ecu works then theres your problem.
However the manaul doesn't say what to do if the problem presists on the, "known good ECu".

there are no codes blinking at all? could be a bad ECU? try changing ECUs w/ a friend or something to see if that fixes it....also for your idle, check your air boost valve (if equipped)
