heh, everyone thinks their car is the best thing on wheels, and we're guilty of the same thing.
Of course, we're RIGHT, but whatever

I want to see one at an AutoX...the WRX has impressed me, the GT-S has dissapointed me...wonder how the RSX will fare?

I particularly like the "Modded Type-r" running 18" wheels.

whatever... ****'em head to head I won...

...in the R with an AEM I might add... I'm sure if I hadn't had the intake the RSX-S could have made up a few car lenghts... all three times...

We'll let the dynoplots that I have speak for themselves. Lets just say the RSX is heavier then the R. An extra 10whp and 10lbs of trq is not gonna pull them ahead of us! hhahahahaha

The torque disadvantage is much smaller after 5K RPM. I expect 0-60 to be close or even better than the R, but the 1/4 mile time may be more favourable to the R. The same logic will also dictate that on a road course where you're mosly above 5000 RPM, the R will be faster in a straight line and through the corners. Better tires, suspension, LSD, etc. Considering the almost 200lb weight difference, the extra 3-4 lb-ft of torque is probably insufficient to make up for the difference.

However, the torque from 3000-5000 is impressive. It'll definitely make the RSX feel faster than a stock R around town.

Sorry, got a small band of RSX-S "Supercars" down here that don't want to leave me alone... tired of the mouth, and then the excuses... read venting... it's kinda like when I was in school way back when, and there was that flyweight 150lbs freashman always running his mouth... Couldn't kick the **** out of someone that much smaller than me cause it just wouldn't look right... However, if you ever see and unmaned RSX-S rolling down the road near Circle C in Austin... know I lost it and jerked the little bastard out of his seat...

...I feel alittle better now...

hahaha...good find. You guys have to admit that the Type S is closely matched to the Type R though. Imagine the next Type R.

Well I can say that this sort of thing just comes down to what two people run into one another.Someone in an RSX-S that can drive would be able to beat down some kid in an ITR that his mommy bought. There are about 7 ITR's here in this city none of which I have seen or heard of running impressive times. And all but me and a close friend are kids that have them because their parents bought them.seeing how most of us here are enthusiasts and very few of us have stock cars.I don't see ant reason to even care.In fact I want every RSX-S owner to think their car is faster

B.S where is the flag.....

I've owned both cars and still own my RSX and there's no way a RSX-S is faster compare to an ITR! Stock vs stock... no way!
