Default Milled head+12.5 C/R pistons+Big cams good or bad?

Did a search and found nothing, and I'm in need of a good answer so here goes:

I badly need to replace the rings in my motor ('00 Type R). Rather than just replacing the rings, and honing the thing again, I would like to just do it right the first time. I already have Eagle rods, pending on JE 12.5:1 comp pistons right now, and could have the block out in a few hours.

My Question: My head has already been milled, I have Toda Spec C cams in the car, and I'm also running a Mugen two-layer headgasket. Is it safe at all to install the Je 12.5:1 pistons (Or any pistons around that comp.)? I will be running the factory headgasket again if I decide to go with bigger pistons, but I'm just wondering if I will have any clearance at all?

Sorry for such a stupid question, I just need to know what the hell to do next, I would like to have this done in less than a month?

depending on how much the head is milled i'd prob go w/ a pretty thick cometic headgasket and get a good tuning tool(hondata) and you should be golden...notice a big difference at that compression w/ those cams...and you have 93 octane in your area right???

The only way to know for sure is to bust out the clay.

How much is the head milled? What exactly are the specs on the Toda Cs? What are your cam gears set at? I ask because I have large cams, milled head, and thin headgasket on a b16 that hasn't run yet cause I'm afraid I'll hit the valves.

To be honest, I have no clue how much the head has been milled. I bought the motor from a guy who basically blew up his Si motor, and opted to get the Type R bottom end, and leave the B16A2 head on the car. The head was warped a little so it needed to be milled... and again, I have no clue how much it was actually milled, the machine shop couldn't give me a good answer either.

And yes, I noticed a pretty big gain with the cams. I am running the Hondata S200 that has a pretty good base map for the setup I have, and can only get better if it was tuned for MY car. Right now the midrange power (from about 4500-6000) sucks, but damn after 6 grand, it pulls HARD. It's a lot of fun. Yes, in Iowa here we have 93 Octane, and we only spend $1.537 per gallon for it.

I did plan on claying the motor when I got done with everything as well, hopefully I like the results.

Skeletor- It is a great idea to clay the motor before you start it. I had to have my car ready for the weekend autocross when I was putting everything back together, so I did'nt have time to clay it. I can tell you though that when I would manually turn the crank over with a wrench, there were some times when I couldn't move the wrench, as the valves were on top of the pistons. No fun, but hey it hasn't blown up yet, and I think it's seen 8500+ each day since I got the car back.
