Default GOING TO ENGLISH TOWN FOR MY FIRST 1/4 MILE RUN THIS WEDNESDAY. ANY TIPS?

I'm told by a few friends that there is no way that I'll break into the 14's, and from

the first time runs posted around here it seems to be so. But it's to late I already

bet lunch that I would. Can you guys give me some tips. Well other than practice,

practice, practice. Oh! I plan to remove my spare & jack, rear deck, fold down

rear seats, max psi in rear & 25 psi in front tires, 1/8th tank of gas, heat up my

tires, launch at 4500 rpm fether the clutch till she grabs & shift at redline hard

without letting up on gas between the 1,2 shift. hope everything goes as planed. If

you have any tips please fill me in, or if you don't agree with what I have planed

so far.

Here is a tip. Usually, when I autocross at Englishtown (like tomorrow), there are practice sessions going on. So, you can sneak a practice session in and then show up on Wednesday and do well ! OR Come to the autocross tomorrow and actually use the steering wheel, clutch, accelerator and brake as oppossed to just the accelerator and clutch.

I'll check into that I've never been to E town I didn't even know about auto crossing there. I sure would love to try that, but my day is booked tomorrow. Is there any other days to auto cross at E town
