Default Valve spring compressor?

I need to put new valves in a ZC head and don't have a valve spring compressor. I'm having trouble trying to locate one that will work. V8 only stuff around here. I found one on the Craftsman site and was wondering if it will work.

I can get one from Snap-On but it'll be another week before he has it.

I'm not so sure that one would work. Try this one: http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/SP-91400.html

Keep in mind that according to my Helms manual it seems that top type of compressor only works with the head of the engine removed.

I have one and it worked for me. Kind of a PITA though, and yes the head was already off.

I bought a unit similar to this one...I got it at Autozone, but I have seen it at Kragens (checkers).
and you can change the valve stem seals without pulling that head with this one..

this craftsman one worked good for me, with the head off. just tedious with 16 valves.

i tried the craftsman version of the one below and i couldn't get it to work right. even with the head off it was really a pain in the ***. so i returned it and got the above one. it didn't seem to fit right in the A6 valve springs. just go to sears and buy it, try it, and if it doesn't work return it for another...just don't destroy the packaging too much when you open it.

the last one is impossible to use in a DOHC ZC, the spring a too deep in the head and it's really tight
