I would offer 3500 and that's it. Don't know what kind of shape the motor is in. As far as if it's been beaten hard or not, and if it has been kept up on regular maintenance.
at the most 4 g's, cuz its a crx, pretty old and its only a b16, u can go get a beater crx for under a grand and get a b16 motor for under 2 grand, drop that **** ur self...way cheaper, at most i would pay 4g's, with that kinda money u can get a 94 LS integra....or a gsr....or u can get a crx shell and go all our with an LS turbo

Looks pretty clean to me. I would say he is charging more because of the paint job, the kit and the motor swap. How is the interior?
I am considering buying it. The interior is stock and fairly clean, nothing too big of a deal. Just your average wear and tear for a 15 yr old car. They have had the car in the shop for a while, as far as i know, over a year.
I haven't seen the car recently. When i did see it, i only had about 45 seconds to look it over. One of my friends went in to the shop and was telling me he thinks he spotted rust (by the wheel wells if i remember correctly). I am planning on going back sometime fairly soon to check it out again, maybe i'll take some pictures. IF there is rust, what should i do? just forget it all together? ihave them come down alot of $ and then fix the spots? suggestions please
it looks pretty clean man, thats a sweet color. It looks like a pretty clean swap also. If possible see if you can do a compression test on the motor to see what kind of shape its in. Did you take it for a spin? If so check to see if it's blowin smoke or not, also put it through the gears and make sure the trans is good with no grinds, good clutch, etc. Also does it through any codes? As long as the body is straight and its not held together with bondo i'd say shoot him an offer. 88's are the lightest which is a plus
why would he put a stage 5 clutch in it ? it`s only a stock motor . have fun in traffic . i bet the flywheel is eat up .
is it Clean or salvaged? To check to see if any body work has been done to any of the pannels. Bring a Magnet. Place it at different spots of the car. If you dont feel it trying to pull to the Car.. Then there's signs of bondo on those area.
I would take it for how much he is asking. It does depend though how many miles it has on it. It looks like a clean car with a clean paint job. I would get different tailights but it looks good
hmm off topic...my car has rust around the rear wheel wells and some in the wells. Is it that costly to get fixed? I don't want to bondo it, it looks rusted all the way through in some spots.

The shop that the car is in is known to do good work... next time i get up there (the shop is about an hour from me) i will try and take some pictures and take it for a spin... i've been looking at these pictures for abour a year already.. hopefully i can take it home soon... thats is if everything is working right...
just from the pic does anyone know exactly what car the b16 is from? the civic or crx SiR.. its not the XSi right.. so its probably like 160 hp with 10.2 compression..
then again does it really matter?
thanks for your help everyone
